Clothes Swap

Revamping our wardrobes was the aim of the day for the commencement of the spring holidays. We (reasonably successfully) attempted a clothes swap then Sarah, Amy and I hit the outlet shops. If the clothes swap wasn't a success our trip to Harbour Town certainly was.

Les Chats Victorieux

In celebration of a friend's birthday we took to the streets of Adelaide to complete a scavenger hunt. It was Les Aristocats against the Metalheads and a SWAT team and in the end we were victorious!

"It's Not Easy Having a Good Time"

Friday the 13th and Poppy, Maddy and I donned our finest fishnets, sparkliest eyeshadow and emptied a can of hairspray for the midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The was an organ, rice, toast and plenty of corsets. We danced the Time Warp once more and gave my favourite pair of shoes their final hurrah.

End to Mad March

Once again we bid farewell to mad March with the Fringe and Festival finishing up last weekend. I took these photos in The Garden of Unearthly Delights, my favourite part of the Fringe, during it's last weekend.

WOMADaleaide

Last weekend was Adelaide's annual WOMAD (world of music and dance) festival and I scored myself a four day pass through volunteering. I got a bar volunteer position which was so much fun. We got to dance behind the bar and chat to some of the performers. On my day off I lazed about in the shade and listened to the sounds of the world. I danced to swing music with The Gramophone Man, wove with Tibetan monks and ate the most delicious cajun fries. Though by far my favourite part will always be watching everyone dance like they're in the privacy of their own home, it's truly fantastic.
